At its core, KookiiWP focuses on intelligent visual integration. The plugin automatically detects theme palettes through CSS variables and WordPress Global Styles, reducing the need for manual colour matching and helping banners blend naturally into modern themes. Every visual element can still be customised individually, including backgrounds, text, accent colours, corner radius, animation behaviour, and collapsed states.

KookiiWP also introduces a unique animated mascot system called Kookii. Available in the Pro version, the Kookii character appears alongside the consent banner using locally hosted SVG animations powered by SVGator and Anime.js. The character reacts to user interaction, supports multiple visual flavours, and integrates directly into the banner’s collapse and morph animations, adding personality and motion without relying on external animation services.

Beyond design, KookiiWP includes built-in consent tracking and visual analytics tools. Pro users gain access to consent overview charts, interactive world maps, per-page consent breakdowns, and device analytics, all stored locally within the site’s own WordPress database.
