Swapping to Printful!

As time has moved on there was a time in swapping my printing service to help my work load.

Since I opened my website some ten years ago, I have always sort quality printing services to handle the custom print commissions I may have gained from sales and client requests. Although I was totally happy and content with the services I found it proved to hold two main issues. Firstly, the potential customers felt that the prices were a little too excessive, and that I had to spend a great deal of time going to the printers, packing the item and then going to the post office to send the items.

Recently, a friend told me of a print-on-demand service that can tie into my website and basically handle all that hassle for me. All I need to do was provide the artwork and they would d do the rest. The service was called Printful.

Swapping to this new service has created its own issues, which have taken a little time to resolve. Mainly all my previous product listings on WooCommerce were deleted and a set of new ones had to be added. This is still in process, but hopefully by the end of February this will be achieve. Over 400+ products. Luckily Printful provides a API plugin to help integrate their service to your site. So, all I had to do was set the products in place and send them to my store, to be listed.

What I have decided to do to begin with is provide 3 common products to see how it goes and work from there; Prints, with option for framed prints, standard short sleeve tee shirts, and all-ver print cut & sew tee shirts. Below is a video from Printful to show their Framed Print service, to Give you an idea of their set up and a good reason for the swapping of my service use.

From the Printful website:
“We’re a global, tech-oriented team

We’re a 500-person team spread out across four locations: North Carolina, California, Mexico and Latvia. (Psst, we’re one of the only print-on-demand drop shippers located in both North America and Europe).

And we do more than printing and shipping. Printful’s 30+ developers are always working on new tech that makes running your online store easier.”

To complete the overview of the service, here is the video that shows their tee shirt production.

“We know how important it is to trust your drop shipping service, to know they’ll always deliver a high-quality product, and never lose an order. We also know how important it is to have the process as automated as possible. The less time you spend worrying about shipping, the more time you can spend growing your business.”
