Playing around with ink!

One of things you do when you are an artist is get images in your head. You try your best to transfer them onto paper, and see how they materialise. I saw this image as a distortion of some graffiti on a bus shelter. As I waited for the lights to change, I stared, and out of the sprayed mess, I saw a woman’s body. Soon as I got home I sketched it out. Subsequently I thought about what would be the best type of media to use. I thought that a taste of Japanese type brush work might make it happen. So here is the result!!
Homage to woman!
