Instagram Challenge

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Some time back I decided to join an Instagram challenge initiative. The basic principle behind it is the the process can help drive new followers to your account and to give them good reason to do so. Many people tend to expect followers to appear and never give them any type of reward. First rule of Instagram interaction is to respond to your followers. If they leave a comment, you better make sure you go and give a reply. This is what is at the heart of good customer care. Now if you don’t think Instagram is about customers, well let me tell you that I have recently had three inquiries into my art from things I posted on my Instagram account.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”18596″ img_link_custom=”http://bit.ly/robart_instagram”][vc_column_text]The initiative was set over 5 days, but unfortunately I was called away to Athens for a judging event for the EBGE awards. So I could only participate in the first three days. However, after the first two days of introducing myself and showing my workspace, the thirdly was to offer followers a freebie. This is always a hard thing to think about, mainly as you would prefer the recipients to be people who do actually follow you and not just stop by to try and get some free art.

My thought as a prize was to give away a small print of a collective of all my caricatures from one of the two completed season; Celebrity Sunday Season One or Celebrity Sunday Vintage Season One.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”18605″ alignment=”center” img_link_target=”_blank” img_link_custom=”https://linktr.ee/robsnowcreative”][vc_column_text]The principle was quite simple. You simply had to follow me on Instagram, sign-up for my newsletter and leave a comment to shay that you had done both of those things. I had a surprising response, as many of the time I do this nobody ever seems to want what I am giving away free. So, as promised I am taking this opportunity to say thanks for the support and to officially reveal the winner (who was selected via a random number generator).[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”The Winner” subtitle=”Winner of the first Instagram Challenge”][vc_column_text]To choose the winner I used a random item picker and added all the participating members of the MailChimp list for the Instagram challenge.

I then simply pressed the button once and this is the result that came out!!

Congratulations Dionysia!!! I will be in touch to see what your preference is in the print, and get the necessary details. As I am away next week in Cyprus, I will deal with this on my return. !! Stay tuned for more gifts a prizes, and big one for my Birthday in May !![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
